A World Without the I-Word

The Drop the I-Word campaign hopes to:

• Expand awareness within the church of the negative racial impacts of calling people “illegals.”
• Eliminate the racially derogatory term, “illegals,” from use within the church, popular usage and public discourse.
• Encourage the faithful to use language that affirms the inherent worth of all people in the eyes of God.
