Podcasts

GCORR is host to a series of podcasts, which we hope will create a platform for dialog, introspection, and action that will help foster awareness and justice. GCORR has assembled a group of lay persons and members of the clergy to discuss a number of topics relating to race, ethnicity and inclusiveness from the perspective of the faith community. GCORR hopes these podcasts will inspire a renewed spirit of racial and ethnic understanding as we move toward building a beloved community of justice, healing and hope.

Listening to the Conversation on Race is one thing, but we want you to actively join in on the conversation too! A study guide will accompany each podcast. All materials are available to copy for your bible study, CORR event or other activity. Be sure to keep us informed with how you are using them.

PODCAST:  Have We Arrived Yet, Part 1
Have We Arrived Yet, Part 2

Our country has recently seen some significant firsts: the election of America’s first African American president and the first Latino to be appointed to the Supreme Court.  In light of these milestones, this discussion will explore the church’s reaction and role in guiding discussion about race. Please use the GCORR study guide to help foster discussion.
