Minority Group Fund

The Minority Group Self-Determination Fund is being revamped with a new title and new stipulations, guidelines and applications. This section of our site will be revised and relaunched with new information when the new CORR Action Fund, supported by MGSDF, is announced by November 2009. Please revisit this section at that time to learn all about our new fund.

The Minority Group Self-Determination Fund is established by the United Methodist Church for the empowerment of racial and ethnic minority people within and outside the church. Funds are given to support specific projects rather than churches or organizations, and those projects must be initiated, developed, controlled and administered by Asian, Black, Latino/a, Native American and Pacific Islander groups in the United States or Puerto Rico.
