Intercultural Competency

The General Commission on Religion and Race (GCORR) is a catalyst and partner with other leaders in The United Methodist Church to support the development of interculturally competent leaders who are engaged in ministry that promotes intentional diversity and equity.

GCORR trains, resources, and connects leaders in order to hone their intercultural skills, which allows them to establish relevant ministries in a Christian movement that reflects the diversity around us.

GCORR is building the capacity of The United Methodist Church to be contextually relevant and to reach more people, younger people, and more diverse people as we make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
